Help Us Give a Free Lift to a Worthy Nonprofit

Follow me on:

This year, Forklift Systems is giving a brand-new JLG 15MSP stock picker, valued at $20,000, to a nonprofit in our service area. We'll deliver it free.

We want it to go to a group that will put it to work every day. You know the food banks, veteran groups, ReStores and shelters in your community better than we do. So we're asking you to tell us who should get it.

"I've spent 47 years in this business, and the top shelf is still where a lot of people get hurt. At a lot of nonprofits, that top shelf means a volunteer on a ladder. I'd like to change that for one of them." Duane Hardy, President, Forklift Systems

How to nominate a nonprofit

Email Christy Mitchell at cmitchell@forkliftsystems.com. It takes about 2 minutes. Your nomination only needs 3 things:

  1. The nonprofit's name and city.
  2. What they do. Who they serve and how.
  3. Why this lift would help them. High shelves, a crowded stockroom, a volunteer on a ladder. Paint us the picture.

Know someone who works there? Add a contact name and we'll reach out. You can also nominate by commenting on any of our giveaway posts on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn and tagging the nonprofit.

Nominations close Friday, December 4, 2026.

JLG 15MSP stock picker with the platform raised
The JLG 15MSP stock picker, the lift 1 nonprofit will get this December.

About the lift

The JLG 15MSP is a one-person, battery-powered stock picker. It lifts a worker and their stock to the top shelf and keeps them there while they move down the aisle. No more ladders.

  • 21 ft working height. The 15 ft 3 in platform reaches high shelving, lights and signs.
  • Drives at full height. A zero turning radius and one-hand joystick control let 1 person work the whole aisle without coming down.
  • Fits tight spaces. It's just 31.5 in wide and 78 in tall stowed, so it rolls through standard doorways and narrow aisles.
  • Low upkeep. Sealed, maintenance-free batteries and a built-in automatic charger. No fuel, no fumes.
  • Indoor friendly. A quiet electric drive and non-marking tires make it safe on finished floors.
  • Built-in safety. A tilt alarm, pothole protection, motion alarm and amber beacon. It meets ANSI and OSHA standards.

Where it works best: indoors on smooth, level floors. Think warehouses, stockrooms, food pantries, thrift stores, gyms, churches and schools. It isn't built for gravel, grass or outdoor job sites.

See it in action

Watch an operator drive the 15MSP down a warehouse aisle and pick from the top racks without ever coming down.

Who should we give it to?

Any nonprofit with shelves, storage or high work is a fit. Here are a few to get you thinking:

  • Food banks and pantries. Racked warehouses restocked by volunteers every week.
  • Veteran and military family groups. Supply closets, stand downs and resale shops.
  • Habitat ReStores and thrift stores. Donated goods stacked high on the sales floor.
  • Disaster relief warehouses. Water, cleaning kits and supplies staged on racks.
  • Shelters and rescue missions. Clothing, bedding and donation storage.
  • Youth clubs, schools and churches. Gym lights, stage work and storage rooms.

Our test is simple. If they have high shelves and someone on a ladder, nominate them.

Who qualifies

  • A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
  • Located in our service area: Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama or southern Indiana.
  • Indoor space with smooth, level floors, like a warehouse, stockroom, pantry, store or gym.
  • A real need for high shelving, storage or overhead work.

How it works

  1. Nominate by Friday, December 4. Email Christy or comment on one of our giveaway posts.
  2. We choose by Friday, December 18. We'll contact the nonprofit and announce the recipient here and on our social pages.
  3. We deliver it free. The lift goes to the winner at no cost.
